The Seasons Within: The Winter Within
DATES: February 20th-22nd
LOCATION: Galena, IL
Wintering invites us to slow the pace and soften our edges. Like the natural world, we are not meant to bloom year-round. This season offers permission to rest, to turn inward, and to tend gently to what sustains us.
Through warmth and nurturing care, we create spaces of safety and comfort—wrapping ourselves in practices that restore rather than demand. Gentle movement, quiet breath, nourishing food, and moments of stillness become acts of devotion to our own well-being.
Reflection is the heart of wintering. In the quiet, we listen more closely. We honor what has been lived, release what no longer serves, and gather wisdom from the year behind us. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced.
Wintering reminds us that rest is not an ending—it is preparation. Beneath the stillness, roots deepen. When the time is right, growth will come naturally.
Join Kimberly Hendricks and Ashley Erickson for an amazing weekend of diving within and hearing powerful women share their stories, eat amazing food, snuggle up in the best cabin in the Galena Territories and SO MUCH MORE! Payment:
Two payment options are available. Please select your choice of paying in full today or a 3-payment plan upon adding to the cart. If selecting a payment plan, $100 will be paid upon registration, and subsequent payments will be sent out via email invoice with a payment link; $187.50 due at the end of January and the final $187.50 due before the retreat begins.

*Inclement Weather / Cancellation Policy
This retreat will not be rescheduled due to inclement weather; therefore, all attempts will be made to avoid cancellation while keeping safety at the highest priority.
In the case of an emergency cancellation 7+ days prior to the event (discussed by participant and Beyond Barriers), money paid less $100 will be refunded to the participant.
In the case of inclement weather and Beyond Barriers / Cara Flynn cancels the event Monday February 16th or later, 50% of payment will be returned to all participants. Money retained by Beyond Barriers will be used to cover prepaid expenses that cannot be refunded, such as lodging, private chef/food, and supplies. Thank you for your understanding.
